This new sand timer is finished with a lovely vintage look. The hourglass timer is displayed in a beautiful, brass colored metal stand. The stand is approximately 13" high and 7" wide. The sand timer runs for about 30 minutes.
Historically, methods of measuring time at sea were very limited. Hourglasses are believed to have been employed for this purpose as early as the 11th century.
