Lorica Segmentata is one of many types of battle armor that can only be found in Roman armor. The design of the armor incorporates steel segmented plates held together with joints of internal leather straps.
This Lorica Segmentata chest plate is designed to fit up to a 48" chest. The four segmented pieces consist of two shoulder guards with brass accents, and a breastplate and back plate fastened together by leather straps and lacing. Due to this item being hand finished, minor cosmetic imperfections may occur.
This set of steel armor will appeal to collectors of Medieval or Roman items.
