These attractive glass garden globes are replicas of original fishing floats. They are tied with rope and made of hand blown glass. These lovely hand blown glass globes all differ in size. The blue globe is about 2.5" in diameter, the orange globe is about 3.5" in diameter and finally the large green globe is about 4.5" in diameter.
The Norwegians, back in the 1840s, were the first to make use of these types of handmade, glass fishing floats. Most glass floats found in the ocean today originated with the Japanese fishing industry.
