This maritime telescope is designed for display, although it does have a 32x magnification under certain conditions. It has a tripod that can extend to about 60" high and the scope is removable from the stand. The scope length is approximately 40". Lens cap is attached by a decorative chain. Although this item does function it is not a high quality telescope.
