The silver and gold papier mache (paper mache) comedy and tragedy mask display is attached to a 20" women figure holding up the masks, including the masks it approximately measures to about 27" tall, the width from mask to mask is 10". This piece would be excellent to have in a theatre room or in any home to a fan of theatre as a wonderful decor piece. It includes a hook to hang it on a wall.
Used for many years in theatre the Comedy and Tragedy icons came from dramas used in theatre mainly starting in Greece which then expanded throughout the world to represent the drama indicated in some of the plays that were held in the theatre.
