This Bassinet Helmet is a replica used by warriors throughout the 14th and 15th Centuries. Original designs did not have the visor nor the pig look to them. As the helmet developed, the Pig Face design was created to deflect blows away from the skull.
This Bassinet Helmet is handcrafted from 18 gauge steel. Variations in size and appearance may occur due to the handcrafting of the helmet. It is accented with bits of brass. The helmet is full sized and wearable making it a great costume piece.
