These replica port and starboard oil lamps stand just over 10" without the handles and with the handles up they are about 14" tall. They have a beautiful antique finish and both lamps are outfitted with decortive rope wicks, hinged doors, and hanging loops. The port lamp has a red window glass lens and the starboard has a green window glass lens.
Port and starboard refer to the different sides of a ship. Starboard for the right and port for the left. At night large ships will illuminate red and green lights on their appropriate sides to help other vessels navigate around them.
