15" Fahrenheit Galileo Thermometer - Multicolored Floats

Galileo, a key player in the Scientific revolution, originally created the Galileo Thermometer. This clear glass cylinder is about 15" tall. It contains 7 different colored spheres. Each sphere is a different weight, indicating a different temperature. The cylinder is filled with a special, clear liquid. The spheres rise and fall, based on the temperature of the liquid. The lowest floating sphere in the top portion of the cylinder indicates the current temperature. The 7 spheres indicate temperatures between 62 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, in 4 degree intervals.
